Twenty-five of these things are likely to last you, as an individual, until mid-century if you can remember where you've stored them. The combs are of good quality and with this quantity they're going to save you money, no more getting stuck having to stop off at the drug store to buy what, depending on the selection, are sometimes inferior quality ones for $2, or more, a piece when the inevitable occurs, the comb you've been using for months somehow ends up disappearing.

Finally lost the last of my great combs from long ago about a month ago. Have bought many different ones in the last few years knowing that I would eventually loose my best. They were absolute junk: smaller length (5"), smaller teeth - just didn't feel good. Couldn't find a good replacement in drugstores, which was my usual source many years ago when I could buy them for 50 cents out of a bowl. I bought this item from Amazon, Fromm Men's Comb, 5.25 Inch, 25 Count, sold by FGP, and the combs are just as good as my old ones. Actually, identical, except for over 10 years of inflation. I'm good for another 10 years!

ps. A frustration I have with Amazon, and their reviews, is that an advertised product can be sold by several sources and they are not identical. Reviewers, PLEASE identify who was your supplier so that buyers can separate the good ones from the bad ones. Amazon, PLEASE don't ignore this comment and hide it under the rug.

These are the pocket-sized rubber combs I grew up with. My teenage son and I both LOVE them. He commented right away "WOW it doesn't scrape your scalp". I too have a problem with plastic combs hurting my scalp. These are very comfortable and not too long. Didn't count them but there were a lot in the package. Great deal!
Edit: buying another pack (I lose them a LOT!) they now come individually barcode-stickered (probably for resale). The sticker is hard to remove and invariably leaves a thick sticky residue. Note to mfg: change the adhesive or lose the sticker!

When I received this there was only 1 comb in the package. I contacted the seller and they said they were aware of it. They blamed it on Amazon saying they only sell these as single combs but Amazon lists it as 25 count. I asked why they continue to sell them if they knew this and they never responded. I will not purchase from them again! This was an expensive comb.
